I was a part of the Lunar Expedition 1 crew, first polish analogue astronaut mission in the Lunares Habitat. Despite its obstacles, management and facility issues, we succeeded to the very end, showing that human spaceflight is really a thing in Poland.

I was providing daily mission coverage, picturing our isolation. My blog posts reached thousands of users, shots were shown on TVs, and eventually became a part of an exhibition dedicated to 100 years of Polish Independence.

Without the LE-1 I would probably not make lifetime friendships with my crew members. We’ve learned a lot from each other, understanding by heart, that the team success is the mission success.

I hope we inspired the youngsters, and, if one of them will touch the stars someday, this mission was a win. And I’ll be proud of that.
