I worked really hard to become one of the few Space Safety experts in Poland, building domain-related know-how from ground-up. I actively participated in Polish Space Sector, helping to shape and establish its capabilities, raising the voice for Space Situational Awareness as essential in our daily lives. I participated in a multitude of ESA projects in SST domain, within national and international partnerships. As a member of the board I was co-responsible for company aćtivities, customer relations and strategic moves towards reaching the wider market and delivering projects on time.
I led the change from project-based to product-based company, building customer relations on trust, reliablity and problem-solving approach, putting first-ever company products to the market. I changed the look from a small company, to a industry leader. I represented the company on national and international meetings, building strong relationships with others.
I worked as a full-stack developer, delivering backends and frontends for space-safety related experiences. I made them WCAG-ready, as one of the first approach to make astronomy accessible to people with disabilities. I am a tech saavy person, using variety of technologies, programming languages, frameworks, tools, combining them to achieve great results on time.
I worked in and with international teams of experts, engineers, managers.
I learned how to fly, and I did flying on my own. Though I haven’t had time to finish the training and got the license, this one is high on my list.
I helped to launch human spaceflight activites in Poland, and participated in Lunar Expedition I in Lunares habitat.
I sent my application to become an ESA astronaut, and although I wasn’t selected, I will do it next time (congrats to Sławosz Uznański!).
I overseen the development, deployment and commissioning of the most advanced telescope network for Space Safety, deployed 3 of 5 sites personally, across the globe, led the team during the commissioning phase, and preapring ground for daily ops.
I travelled round the world with my family.
I witnessed the total solar eclipse.
I wrote the Equation of a Word, and the Aperture of a Word.
I witnessed the first steps of my son. I look forward for birth of my daughter.
I met great people - thank you all for all the meetings, fruitful discussions, goods and bads - hope to see you somewhere over there again!
We did great with Transmisja Poetycka.
I met Apollo 17 astrounaut, Harrison Schmidt.
I started to participate in #BiegamDobrze, and I improved my running a lot, getting the crown of Polish marathons.
I improved my photography.
I am a happy man. Nie widziałem czterolatka z karabinem w ręku, ale kamyk, który jest stworzeniem doskonałym.
Today I run 5k in 19:47min, beating 20min mark for the first time. I have no idea how I did this and I did this during Park Run Bródno, at a challenging route. And it took us to assembly the Perserverance Lego set more than 5 hours! Discovery set is the next in line. It’s a beautiful day (U2).
Here is the next chapter.
