At 17:41 Lunar Standard Time we closed the airlock hatch, right after the last EVA during this mission. Me and Matt were performing final technical tasks before the lift-off: we put the waste to the cargo ship, we disconnected experiments that required human interactions from the habitat, and we did some repairs to the airlock as well. Finally, we spent some short last moments on the lunar surface…

It was a busy day, full of packing our things for trip home, finishing experiments and reports. It’s less than 24 hours before the lift-off, and I personally cannot imagine, that this is tomorrow, when the mission really ends. We cleaned the habitat and prepared it for the next crew. I hope there will be one…

I’m a little bit sticked to that place, and it is a strange feeling looking at it right now. A lot of empty space around, just the clock ticks. My Light Lab became the Operations again, desks are cleaned up, just a few packed boxes here and there, our backpacks, and we, sitting in the Atrium as for the last two weeks…

Last measurements, short look at the schedule for today. Thrusters on full. We’re ready to go.
